The times they were a-scary when The Dunwich Horror (1970) came out. It's a supernatural tale of foolish humans trying to free the demon hoard from beyond. Based on an H.P. Lovecraft story, it may be dated by the excess of psychedelic lighting, but it also offers the only, albeit brief, skin from Gidget gal Sandra Dee. She plays a young virgin who is to be Satan's bride. Sandra sort of shows the side of her breast--it's not much, but it's still hot. Donna Baccala has an up-skirt in a mental hospital, and there are several artistically lit unknowns playing dream demons. It's enough to make us all horny little devils.
