In Pane, burro e marmellata (1977), poor Bruno is a successful TV figure, but he is deeply unhappy because his wife has left him. He wants to call her and beg her to come home, but his phone is out of order. Leaving the house, he sets out to find a phone and comes across the home of three beautiful women. Feeling sorry for him, the women take it upon themselves to comfort Bruno in every way possible. Ultimately this erotic idyll comes crashing down and Bruno is once again alone. Despite the sexy premise there’s no nudity thanks to the dastardly blue bikini that keeps Rossana Podestà’s moon pies imprisoned.
