The classic tale of two stars meeting, one on the way up (Barbra Streisand) and one on the way down thanks to too much booze and cocaine (Kris Kristofferson), A Star Is Born (1976) is both an emotional drama and a musical treat. Barbra’s “Evergreen” won the Academy Award for Best Song, but Barbra was robbed. She should have won an Anatomy Award for her quick right boob sexposure in the boudoir with Kristofferson.
