Many viewers will be pleased to know that tennis is barely mentioned during the twenty-two-minute made-for-TV special A Date with Anna (2002). Instead of boring fans with shots of statuesque Russian blonde Anna Kournikova running back and forth across the clay, director Gregg Backer delivers alluring footage of a recent Kournikova swimsuit shoot. Yes, there are a few humdrum interviews with her friends and family, but most of the program is dedicated to showcasing Anna in her teeny bikinis. Rejoice!
