For many scholars of human nature, the most difficult aspect about acquiring a university degree is being forced to leave campus after graduation. Feckless undergraduate Ben Affleck faces an impending existence without coeds in Glory Daze (1996), and he balks. The real world is more than an MTV-packaged experience to the conflicted, angst-pants characters of this bittersweet drama of collegiate adieu.
