The coming-of-age drama Les Amoureux (1994) concerns shy, withdrawn French farm boy Marc, who is taught the ways of the world by his free-spirited half sister Viviane. As he watches her spin through town, Marc comes to realize that maybe she’s not the best role model after all. Les Amoureux is an interesting study in youthful insecurity with great views of Nathalie Richard’s furry clamtrap.
