A trio of proud Bavarians attempt to bring their bred bull to a livestock exhibition in Avignon but end up taking a wrong turn in the quirky slapstick comedy Drei Lederhosen in St. Tropez (1980). Stumbling into the chic Parisian holiday spot of St. Tropez, the confused breeders wonder why they’re procuring so many amused looks. Fortunately the men don’t skip a beat--from holding up a post office to coaxing their bull onto a nearby yacht, the lederhosen-clad clowns are quick to offend every Frenchman in sight. On the other hand, they’re great with the French women--Ursula Buchfellner, Eleonore Melzer, and Sibylle Rauch all shimmy out of their summer wear to show their appreciation.
