In the boot-shaped country called Italy there’s been a cinematic tradition called “giallo”, which trades in gruesome gore and skintillating sex. Bad Inclination (2003) is a modern attempt to revive the exploitative form. And it’s a worthy addition for those who like their T&A cut with a bloody butcher knife. The scenes are thrillingly shot and a bit on the dark side--that is until one of the characters decides to take a bath. When Eva Robins or Elisabetta Cavallotti get wet, the lights are blaring so as not to miss a single drop of nudity. No wonder Italy looks like the European continent’s hard-on.
