Professional baseball and basketball have their all-star games, allowing the top players to show off in a complement of peers, and the champion purveyors of horror flicks have Creepshow 2 (1987). Fright masters George Romero and Stephen King suit up for the Creepshow 2 team and blast out three stories of sphincter-tightening madness and mayhem. A blood-thirsty wooden Indian, a hit-and-ran hitchhiker who refuses to stay dead, and a voracious blob trolling for teens in a resort area’s paddle lake are all featured performers in these supernatural tales of unnatural distress and comic-book morality. Be good to your fellow man, or you may find yourself in the next Creepshow sequel.
