Anne Coesens certainly has Le Secret (2000), which is that this gorgeous wife and mother is enjoying a little nookie on the side. We actually assume that’s true of most gals in French movies. The twist here is plenty of existential angst, since none of the parties involved seem particularly interested in what they’re doing. Of course, we’re just talking about the exploration of deep emotional issues. The actual sex scenes are wonderfully shallow and hot. Anne may not understand why she keeps coming back to her lover, but you’ll certainly know why her warm French form keeps you coming.
