The crime -comedy Krieger und Liebhaber (2000) focuses on the friendship between gangster boss Cäsar (Hilmar Thate) and his long-time companion, the cook Alfons (Dieter Pfaff). That friendship is put to the test after Alfons secretly helps his buddy’s unfaithful lover Milena (Marie Bäumer) at escapeing from Cäsar’s revenge. Now the cook is caught in a trap. How can he permanently protect Milena without losing his best friend? Thate, Pfaff, and Bäumer sure know how to lead a movie, but the true highlight in Krieger und Liebhaber is Rebecca Mosselmann as a Swabian nurse and part- time stripper who (understandably) doesn’t shy away from flashing her gravity- defying gazongas to some lucky dude.
