Not Harold and Maude (1971), but not all that far off, the made-for-TV German drama Heimliche Liebe - Der Schüler & die Postbotin (2005) chronicles the unusual romantic bond that develops between a middle-aged woman and a school-aged boy. Teenager Joe Reinhardt (Kostja Ullmann) and thirty-something Rosemarie Elling (Marie Bäumer) maintain a relationship that scandalizes their families and friends. Divided by age and social conventions, the couple remains devoted to each other despite long odds and even manages to scrounge up the time for some super-secret boffing. Taboo aside, Ullmann would be smart to not let this German goddess get away--Bäumer’s got a treasure chest to offer the lovestruck lad.
