The romantic comedy Oviedo Express (2007) takes place in 19th-century Spain and tells the story of a traveling acting troupe that descends on a small town to stage a play. Things get complicated when the troupe’s leader, Benjamin (Carmelo Gómez), who’s married to his main actress (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón), falls for Emma (Barbara Goenaga), the wife of the mayor (Alberto Jimenez) who is having an affair with Najwa Nimri. Along the way, the Oveido Express becomes the O-my-god-look-at-that-rack Express with Aitana, Barbara, and Maribel Verdú all show skin.
