Snakes have been the stuff of legends since the story of the serpentine tempter of Eden was passed along. Over time, the squiggly reptiles have lost none of their power to simultaneously fascinate and repulse. Perhaps inspired by his prehistoric ancestor offering fruit from the tree of knowledge, Movini, the title cobra of Night of the Cobra Woman (1972), gifts the seductive, sensual, and scorching hot black woman who survives his bite with eternal youth. Along with staying spry and sexy, the venom-resistant chick also learns to exploit the magical properties of her python's poison, and happiness reigns in the cave they inhabit. Alas, all good things come to a screwed-up end when a nosy do-gooder broad pokes her proboscis into the slinky lady's business, leading to the accidental but preventable death of Movini. Hell hath no fury like the wrath of a wronged woman with the power of turning herself into a man-crushing constrictor.
