Married for more than two decades, a happy couple abruptly loses sight of what they see in each other in the romantic German comedy Love Trip (2001). David (Dominic Raacke) and Britt’s (Désirée Nosbusch) holiday jaunt through Northern Europe is supposed to be a pleasant, romantic excursion, but the couple experiences an unexpected chill in their carnal relations while en route. With David high-tailing it home early, Britt falls back on plan B--devilish photographer Alex (Hannes Jaenicke). David squeezes in some playtime of his own with delectable Katja Giammona, while Ms. Nosbusch frustratingly lives up to her name in a pair of modest but alluring scenes.
