While contemplating retirement, a beautiful attorney is sucked back into the fray by a sinister murder scheme in the made-for-TV German mystery Die Mandantin (2006). Barbara Rudnik stars as Ariane Leonhardt, a talented lawyer whose life is made difficult by her battle with multiple sclerosis. Leonhardt is considering a clean break with her profession until learning that her would-be replacement has uncomfortable ties to a homicide investigation. Sadly Babs’s only flesh flash is likely a body double, but co-star Jasmin Gerat proves more candid during a bout of titillating pillow talk.
