Schlockmeister extraordinaire David F. Friedman was making sexploitation films before there was color stock. But just because the girls are colorless in A Smell of Honey, a Swallow of Brine (1966) doesn't mean things don't get blue. Blonde Texan Stacey Walker plays a man-eater who gets her prey all hot and horny before accusing them of rape. To make this convincing, of course, she has to show off her Texas T’s. But her evil eye isn't solely fixated on men. Stacey takes a shine to brunette Linda Gearheart, and who wouldn't after seeing her topless bedroom scene with Stacey? Yes, Stacey is a bad girl, but she does it well.
