Adapted from a novel by Frederick Forsyth, The Fourth Protocol (1987) casts Michael Caine as a spy who’s frantically working to thwart a Soviet plan to obliterate an American armed forces base on British soil. As a super-suave KGB agent, Pierce Brosnan pulls off a convincing Russian accent, and, more importantly, he pulls off the clothes of his gorgeous undercover contact, played by Blade Runner bombshell Joanna Cassidy.
