Barbara Mills

Barbara, who is in no way, shape, or form related to John Mills or any of his acting brood, barely inserted her foot into the proverbial acting door before she was spat back out into a world of non-recognition. She made her debut in the 1970 crime drama ~The Golden Box~, which one would like to assume had something to do with a certain blonde bombshell and a draft vent on the street, although it is safe to assume that it didn’t. Her follow-up was the 1971 sexploitation flick ~Chain Gang Women~ in which she played the victim of a rape and robbery spree perpetrated by two escaped convicts. Oddly enough, there are only two women in the flick, and neither one is on a chain gang. Go figure. There was a time, it was called sexploitation, when cuties such as Cindy Hopkins ruled the multiplex, well, at least the multiplexes in the minds of masturbators. Sure, nowadays sex is rampant in mainstream culture, but it’s just not as illicitly hot as Sexophrenia (1970), the X-rated lesbian short that has Cindy and Jane Tsentas making gynecological whoopee. School Scandals (1970) continued the adult fun with Barbara Mills as the les-be-friend. Sexual Confessions (1973) found her adding Sandy Carey and a bunch of guys to the carnal mix.
