Here at Mr. Skin, we say "Hip! Hip! Hooter-ay!" for camp-themed slasher movies, especially when they're rife with nudity and a vehicle for paradigmatic troubled child star Leif Garrett, like Cheerleader Camp (1987). Camp Hurrah, populated by ’80s centerfolds like Teri Weigel and Rebecca Ferratti, is also home to a relentless serial killer who's handy with a pair of garden shears. Since the victims are also turning out to be the same girls who have been turning the head of camper Alison's (Betsy Russell) philandering boyfriend, she begins to suspect that the evil side of her split personality may be the one putting these hot bodies on cold slabs. It seems like the whole town has their binoculars out when the girls go for some topless sunbathing on the rocks at the eleven-minute mark. Oh, to be as hard as that rock . . . Wait, never mind.
