Piranha II: The Spawning (1981) ups the ante of the original by doubling the skin thanks to the naked addition of Carole Davis and Connie Lynn Hadden. Beyond the lure of their jugular beauty, what hooks audiences is the fury of the military-issue sharp-tooth fish. Those who swim too close to a shipwreck return as skeletons. There's nothing horny about those bones. What's worse, these fish have adapted to the air and can fly. Now that doesn't bite.
