It took UK director Anthony Minghella to bring popular Eurobabe Stefania Rocca to the American multiplexes with The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999)--although this Italian beauty had to be dolled up in a wig for the role. Back in Italy, Stefania was best known for her androgynous presence. Of course, that’s hard to believe after seeing Rocca’s rack rolling out of her costume in Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of Love's Labour’s Lost (2000). Simona Cavallari

Simona started her acting career off in her native Italy, where she first appeared in the hit film ~Pizza Connection~, which was also released (on a limited basis) in America in 1985. After roles in the forgettable ~La Sposa era bellissima~ in 1986 and in the mini-series ~Mino~ later that same year, Simona made her breakthrough on the hit series ~La Piovra~ in 1988. The gig only lasted a year, though, and the budding starlet quickly set her sights back on the Silver Screen. When that little endeavor, marked with such mishaps as ~Lo Zio indegno~, fizzled, Simona took a jaunt up to Germany, where she appeared in her first Skin Scenes in the mini-series ~Die Kaltenbach-Papiere~.
