Kids can be smart enough to ace their SATs and be accepted at the college of their choice; still, they will never learn to turn down financial incentives that require prolonged inhabitation of a spooky, creaky old house before payout is made. The two boys and pair of women who undertake to remain under the sagging roof of the dank structure of The Doorway (2000) are subjected to more than the standard bodiless sounds and suddenly animate inanimate objects. Even in their sleep they are plagued; a sexual predacious demoness invades their dreams and causes them to act out carnally like demon beasts possessed. The young scholars realize that they must shut the gateway to Hades before every horn dog from hell escapes the pit and pollutes the collegiate dating pool.
