Four friends are on a retreat to the countryside in Das Geheimnis (1995) when one of them, Lydia, meets a man claiming to not only be Jesus Christ, but also to possess the universal secret of love. Quickly falling for the mysterious stranger, Lydia takes him back to her place and they make love. When she arises in the morning, the stranger is dead and she and her friends have to figure out if it really happened or if it was only a dream.
