Dinner-party guests are enlisted to solve a murder mystery in Clue (1985), Jonathan Lynn’s surprisingly successful adaptation of the classic Parker Brothers board game. The six guests on hand are forced to wrangle with the age-old questions of countless rainy afternoons: Was it Colonel Mustard (Martin Mull) in the conservatory with the candlestick? Or, perhaps, Miss Scarlet (Lesley Ann Warren) in the library with the lead pipe? Key secrets are revealed over the course of the movie’s ninety minutes, but perhaps none is as important as what Yvette the Maid (Colleen Camp) is wearing underneath her skintight uniform.
