An attractive middle-aged woman is content with her affluent life until she makes a series of horrifying discoveries in the German crime thriller Heiß und kalt (1997). When Judith Schwaiger (Marijam Agischewa) discovers that she’s afflicted with a potentially fatal disease, she retreats into the arms of her husband. Little does she realize that he’s a grade-A sleaze who’s not only sleeping with her best friend (Ann-Kathrin Kramer) but actually plotting her murder. Both Agischewa and Kramer squeeze in some quality bedroom time with the evil two-timer (Peter Sattmann), while alluring co-star Saskia Valencia offers a quick slip of skin during a lewd film shoot.
