Nick Nolte, Julie Christie, Lara Flynn Boyle, and Johnny Lee Miller star in director Alan Rudolph's Montreal-set romantic saga Afterglow (1997). Nolte plays a handyman who handles Julie's needs most excellently, while Lara and Johnny portray a yuppie couple with all the outward trappings of material success, but whose inner lives are dire and chaotic.
