The cruel and common punishment of a gassy diet, crowded bunking arrangements, and poor ventilation would seem to make prison life rough enough. But gastrointestinal indignities are only the beginning of the inmates’ sufferings in The Circuit 2 (2002). A sadistic, corrupt, and enterprising warden has set up a barbaric and lucrative fight club among the convicts, pitting killers against one another for the enjoyment of a select few and the enrichment of none other than himself. When a busty, perky, and pesty investigative reporter invades the prison’s bowels in search of a knockout scoop, she is forced to put up her dukes and defend her own poop.
