Following a string of small-screen successes, director Marc Rivière lensed the witty, three-hour French mini-series Louise et les marchés (1998). The filmmaker’s biggest coup may have been convincing the ravishing Line Renaud to assume the lead role in his comic production, but he also knows how to get mileage out of his supporting players. Sarah Bertrand and Valérie Leboutte round out the cast of actors, and neither woman is shy about showing off alluring angles of skin.
