There's a common misunderstanding that sci-fi movies offer a glimpse at the future. Well, Lurid Tales: The Castle Queen (1995) takes a look back, and Mr. Skin likes what it sees. The erotic cable feature is about a man who uses virtual reality to visit seventeenth-century England, but don't expect a costume drama. The budget didn't allow for much to be wasted on covering such talents as Kim Dawson, Betsy Lynn George, and Cristi Harris. Yes, all the money is on the screen in the form of its naked honeys. And, yes, men were men back then, but women did women, as Betsy so provocatively shows.
