Gretchen Mol plays the pageboy-haircut fetish and pinup model in The Notorious Bettie Page (2005). The story follows Gretchen as the young Bettie, a God-fearing youth in '30s Nashville, to her glory as the sexiest of the '50s nudie cuties and the controversy her pictures caused, back to her embrace of Jesus Christ in old age. The movie is filmed in black and white but bursts into color for wild sex spreads. Audiences will burst too, watching the busty Gretchen fill out Bettie's classic black lingerie and then bust out of it.
