Roommates are a necessary evil among the young and underfunded, and few rent splitters exhibit the creepy resourcefulness of the title co-inhabitant of Single White Female 2: The Psycho (2005). The new lodger, though cute enough and sharp as a tack, has a limited social circle of her own and seeks to live through the loves and larks of her new friend. Unfortunately, as Psycho’s affections grow, so does her homicidally obsessive form of jealous protection, and she starts killing off anyone who wrongs her object of fixation. Such devotion is flattering, of course, at first, but what if a girl prefers the option of forgiving and forgetting rather than having her flawed suitors flayed alive?
