Roberto Farnesi plays an Italian stallion in the enviable position of driving women wild in Nini Grassia’s erotic drama Italian Gigolo (1989). With his sculpted body and boyish face, Farnesi’s hunky protagonist has no trouble waging a living by giving starving housewives exactly what they want. But the young stud has more ambitious dreams for himself than simply satisfying erotic cravings, and soon he’s teaming with a slippery businessman to leave the hunk-for-hire racket behind. It’s sad to see Farnesi go, if only because he coaxes starlets like Eleonora Vallone into ditching their dresses in orgasmic anticipation.
