The crime drama Whispers from a Shallow Grave (2006) is a unique twist on the genre, with the action coming from the accused murderer on the witness stand. Trudi Jo Marie Keck’s testimony is literally from beyond the grave, which gives this thriller an extra scary kick in the pants. Those pants will already have gotten a kick from Michelle Bauer as Rape Victim. Trudi’s boobs appear in black-and-white photographs, leading the sleuths at Mr. Skin to suspect foul play, as in a body double.
