Set in the dystopian future of 2005 (oops, guys), New Crime City (1994) is a low-budget sci-fi film about a convict’s quest to save Los Angeles from a deadly virus. Rick Rossovich stars as Anthony Ricks, an incarcerated felon who’s tossed into a futuristic west-coast prison colony. Once there, Ricks learns that a prison gang is getting set to unleash a toxic homebrew on the residents of L.A. and sets out to stop it. Yes, the fate of humanity’s on the line, but can you really fault Ricks for taking a quick time out to shag busty B-movie blonde Sherrie Rose? Didn’t think so.
