A gorgeous and evocative telling of a single day in the life of a young woman as told by the same woman reminiscing twenty-five years later, 24 heures de la vie d’une femme (2002) is a haunting masterpiece which explores the twin themes of memory and desire. Based on the novel by Stefan Zweig, this retelling is mostly faithful to the original but also introduces new characters, which gives it a modern flair. Bérénice Bejo plays Olivia, who revels in showing her Gland Canyon, both indoors and out.
