Being the new kid on campus is no picnic, particularly not during the college-prep years, but rarely has a mid-term transfer endured the ordeals of the embattled protagonist of Massacre at Central High (1976). Lucky for the Central High hero, the girls at the new school are rather indiscriminate in their affections; so he is not suffering for skinny-dipping companionship. But tensions brew. A band of local bullies is firmly entrenched, and the only thing worse than falling on their bad side is rejecting an offer to benefit from the thugs’ good graces. Push comes to shove, and bad feelings lead to spilled blood. As the body count mounts, friends have a hard time distinguishing one another from foes.
