Almost Blue (1992) centers on Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs's Mr. Blonde) as Morris Poole, a jazz saxophonist who's skyrocketing career is thrown off course when his wife dies suddenly. Blaming himself, Morris is uneasy about entering a new romance with gorgeous, seductive Jasmine (Lynette Walden). While Morris is haunted by memories of his dead spouse, Jasmine does her best to soften his heart and harden his lap at the same time.
