A pushy police officer (George Segal) pressures a citizen (Tony Goldwyn) who watched a brutal slaying to testify in court in Taking the Heat (1993). The cop works non-stop to keep his witness, who's under twenty-four-hour surveillance, safe from cold-blooded killers. Meanwhile, he takes the majority of the heat on his meat stick with Rachel York.
