Klimbim is a legendary German comedy show that ran successfully from 1973 to 1976 and turned its leading ladies Elisabeth Volkmann and Ingrid Steeger into stars. It might best be described as a sexed up version of the British series Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, which caused parents to take care that children were in bed and not secretly in front of a TV set. However, the strong sexual content of Klimbim is not much of a surprise seeing that both Steeger and Volkmann are best known for their numerous appearances in softcore flicks like Was Schulmädchen verschweigen and Schulmädchen-Report 4: Was Eltern oft verzweifeln läßt. One of the show’s most popular elements was a recurring sketch that centred on the Klimbim family featuring Volkmann as a femme fatale and Steeger playing the dumb blonde. This is a skin classic in German TV history; Elisabeth Volkmann and Ingrid Steeger wore skimpy outfits throughout and occasionally even threw in nude appearances. Be that as it may, the two ladies’ most revealing scenes can still be found in any of their softcore productions where they regularly showed off everything.
