Sparks sizzle from the screen whenever Zeudi Araya struts onscreen with her unbuttoned top in the Italian romantic drama La Peccatrice (1975). Directed by cult auteur Pier Ludovico Pavoni, the film tells the story of Alain le Grand (Turi Santalena), a wandering laborer who returns from Africa with a goddess (Araya) on his arm. After procuring work at a sulfur quarry Alain discovers that his wife has drawn the attention of the lecherous miners, and the worksite quickly darkens in a cloud of jealousy and suspicion. Araya flashes some heavenly chest after stepping out of the bath and a lot of cleavage throughout the rest of the film--she’s perfectly cast as the object of the men’s tawdry desires.
