Brigitte Bardot works with her truck-driver husband but can't work his crankshaft in La Lumière d'en face (1955), a black-and-white melodrama starring the greatest melonmama of the twentieth century. Georges Marceau is the lucky hubby, but ever since an unfortunate accident he's been forced to stay abstinent and has been working their restaurant rather than going out on the road. There's a new business owner on the block, and George is afraid that Brigitte is going to offer the newbie her boobies. Flirty but faithful, Brigitte doesn't realize that her husband is teetering on the brink. Is Georges about to snap and do something he can never take back? And will he lose access to that famous rack?
