In Dead & Buried (1981), James Farentino is the sheriff of a picturesque town in Rhode Island, but the tourism industry isn’t that great. In fact, it gets to the point where every stranger who wanders through ends up dead. Local mortician Jack Albertson stays busy fixing up the mangled bodies, while Farentino discovers that his quiet little town is actually moribund. This under-seen horror classic is full of weird humor and shocking moments--not to mention a nude turn by Lisa Blount that’ll give your dick a case of rigor mortis.
