Any movie freak worth their salt knows (and most likely adores) the work of Jeremy Piven. From his early work in PCU and Singles to his scene-stealing bits in Very Bad Things and Serendipity, the guy’s always good for a colorful few moments. So it came as a nice surprise when ABC gave the guy his own series in Cupid. Focusing on Trevor Hale, a lovable goofball who sincerely believes himself the God of Love and a collection of affable supporting characters – this one had the chance to find a small cult following. Alas, they canceled it before this could happen, which is perhaps all for the best: Piven can go back to his winning ways on the silver screen.
