Don Cheadle stars as a businessman who’s equal parts Gordon Gekko and Bernie Madoff in the Showtime series House of Lies. Marty Kaan (Cheadle) is one of the top producers at swank Wall Street consulting firm Galweather & Stearn. He’s so successful, no one thinks to question his methods-which is a good thing, because they include every shady scheme in the con-artist book. With just enough business-school lingo to dazzle his clients into submission, Marty seems to have discovered the perfect con, and shameless corporate climber Jeannie van der Hooven (Kristen Bell) wants in on the action.
