The amateur enthusiast picks up a copy of Was Schulmädchen verschweigen (1974). It doesn't take a linguistic genius to pick out the German noun for schoolgirl. The potential viewer is no film historian, but he suspects that 1974 was a prime year for pre-silicone European sexploitation pictures. Concluding that life is looking up, he takes Was Schulmädchen verschweigen home and is in for an odd but diverting and titillating surprise. He has latched onto a strange and sinful pseudo-documentary purporting to divulge the creepy sex secrets of recent jail-bait chicks, and is treated to the satanic, kiddie, pee-pee memories that depraved dollies too often keep to themselves. Essential viewing, if only in the spirit of scientific enquiry.
