Martina Gedeck and Pascal Greggory star as 19th-century composers and classical-music power couple Clara and Robert Schumann in the biopic Geliebte Clara (2008). Composer Johannes Brahms (Malik Zidi) completes the love triangle when he falls in love with Clara and the three descend into a spiral of sex, alcoholism, drug addiction, venereal disease, and attempted suicides. We also get to see Martina’s right bassoon, and that will have you tuning your skin flute.
