A naïve peasant woman and her country-bumpkin husband get a rocky introduction to the cruel and fast-paced modern world in the Yugoslavian drama Lepota poroka (1986). Mira Furlan stars as Jaglika, a beautiful young woman who hews to an ancient way of life in her village in the mountains of Montenegro. When the woman and her husband (Milutin Karadzic) descend from the mountain in search of a better life, they stumble into a free-spirited nudist colony where sex and free love abound. It’s quite a change of pace for Furlan and her hubby, but they adapt quickly--a peek at residents Dobrila Cirkovic and Ines Kotman is all the convincing Furlan needs to join them in naked reverie.
