The NBC superhit The Office follows the foibles of the off-kilter office cogs who keep things running at the Scranton branch of the Dunder Mifflin paper company, where every day is a daffy drag. Regional manager Steve Carell manages to be everything but a bearable boss, buffoonishly striving to be everybody's buddy and driving the whole crew crazy in the process. In fact, the only person who doesn't mind his antics is kiss-up co-conspirator Rainn Wilson, a total pain in his own right who also happens to be not quite right in the head. Stunned by all the silly stupidity, salesman John Krasinski whiles away his workdays mooning over receptionist Jenna Fischer, a loveable looker who's as baffled by the banal insanity and insane banality as he is. Chin up, John! If Jenna, Melora Hardin, and Mindy Kaling worked in our offices, we would never go home, even if it meant listening to paper-pushing dunderheads drone.
