Marceau is a hard-as-nails police detective on the trail of a murderer in Caboose (1996). The caboose in question is an abandoned train that until recently had been the haven of a down-on-his-luck junkie, as well as the scene of a gruesome murder. Marceau gets nowhere until he recruits young Camille, who was formerly drummed out of the police academy, to help him flush out the killer. As Camille gets involved with Marceau's world of violence, desperation, and venality, she begins to learn more about herself than she ever thought possible.
